I love our vac pots and balance brewers, they make a very nice and smooth coffee.
We usually use a coarser grind then what we use for the espresso machine but I find that the vac pots are very forgiving in that regard.
Make sure once all the water has gone to the top receptacle you let it steep long enough before you remove the heat source.
Bezzera B3000A, Giotto Premium, several Cona's, several Balance Brewers, Atomic, Milano etc,
Aristarco, Rancilio MD 40, Ditting and Eureka MCI grinders, several antique roasters, a mini500/800N propane/electric Taiwanese roaster, greens all over the place...and some other unmentionables that have not been mentioned......
