Happy Birthday TMC!

Postby phil » Mon Aug 22, 2005 10:10 am

For those of you who didn't know, today is TMC's second birthday, being the second anniversary of the first-ever posting after site construction was complete.

In those days TMC was still making the transition from being an online place for the four founder members (myself, Raf, Sunnyfield (Eward) and Steve) to chat and into a pukka online forum and information resource. This shows a bit in a few of the earliest posts - as (embarrasingly) Danny McNulty was forced to remind us earlier this year. Hey Danny, where are you - I do hope you didn't just join to tell us off?

Anyway, a warm "thank you" to all of the people who come along and make TMC the friendly and helpful place it is.

Cheers

Phil

ice cream? jelly?

On a rainy monday morning, can't think of any way better to avoid working than sitting here with a cup of Daterra reading through the latest posts. Congrats Phil and Founders, and thanks for a great resource and community!

Happy birthday! Seems from Phil's comment that you've come a long way, baby! Judging from the posts on here today, TMC is in full bloom and shows no signs of immaturity (by my standards anyway). Only two years... Who would have thought. :D

Happy Birthday to TMC, it has gone from strength to strength since I joined in April 2004, and I've learnt so much, and hopefully given a little back too. Thanks to Phil and co for all the good work.

Must be that damned work thing getting in the way. That and thinking up more cunning ways for us to spend cash

There's no need for him to think up more ways, I'm already doing that for him here! Bet you he's buying pot plants for the new roastery, or busy putting little bowls of pot pourri all over the place
