How much unique users per day?

Postby Aadje » Thu Apr 12, 2007 2:02 pm

Hi all,

first of all: Way to go with TMC II!

second: I started wondering how much unique users visit TMC every day/month or so.

Hiya

In March, according to our web log analyser we had 15654 unique visitors. To date (3 AM on the 12th) we have had 5177 unique visitors. This doesn't count crawlers such as Googlebot.

I didn't bother to cut over Postnuke's analysis from TMC 1. However, you can find Postnuke's stats for since TMC 2 went live here - not that I set much store by them. We're not downing in web crawlers the way we were, but there's still a huge volume of bot traffic (almost all of it Google - the other search engines tend to leave us alone more or less).

Initial signs are that the investment in time in setting up the Google sitemap has been worth it. :D

Cheers

Phil

I second with Adje, good work!

Raf: Yes, not bad for a forum that started with 4 people a fw years ago...

Funny that the stats doesn't show much variation during the day. After midnight there are almost the same number of people online as during daytime.

It must have something to do with all the coffee :D
As a final touch God created the Dutch
