I don't know why but I cant get an avatar or sig on my posts? I've tried 'my account' -> 'change your info' and can select an avatar and sig but they don't show up?? Also I can't seem to use a custom avatar. I'm using firefox by the way. Am I just being stupid??

Try clicking on Profile near the top of the page in the middle, then go down to the Avatar Control Panel.

Cheers,

Hugh

I got that far last time the subject came up but fell over with the image size. Far too old and stupid to know how to reduce a photo down to avatar size.

If you search for "Irfan View" you will find a programme that is free and with which you can change size, format, pixel density, etc. of one or a batch of files.

Pieter's file was over 2 MB, that's why he couldn't upload it.

I decided I needed a bit of a change so I roasted some Monsooned Malabar. That was a change!
