Dom will be able to help on the jazz thing. I'm a rock fan who is slowly listening to more jazz and loving it, but I am hopeless when it comes to recommendations.

Bazbean: a good idea IMHO and experience is to position a playlist with differing artists depending on time of day as well....
I can attest to this with reference to the most excellent Roasters. In fact, on the third stroke of 3pm precisely on high days and holidays, a Baz minion puts on The Best of Elvis CD and Baz himself makes a grand entrance down the sweeping, marbled staircase in his spangly white suit.
It really is a sight to behold - but you can only catch it when there's a full moon

Pandora is great for finding albums. Originally I had trouble with the US only thing until I realised all you needed was a zip code. I stuck in 90210 and Robert was my fathers brother!
