Congratulations Raf! San Gimignano is a beautiful place indeed. Can't remember any decent coffee though, but it was a few years ago. Have fun :P

I'm just surprised that nobody has commented on honeymoons being generally spent in the hotel the whole time.... and this is coming from the guy who dragged his wife through the dolomites on a mountain bike...
This week I are feeling sleepy!

Congrats to Mr & Mrs Raf ... :D

If whilst in Naples you go for a drive on the Amalfi coast, you must visit Sorrento..... stunning and a marvelous espresso right in the centre of town.
cant recall the name but its dead centre opposite the row of international Flags and small bridge overlooking the "Picco" bay(well know meeting point) and to be fair it the busiest and best looking, proffesional place you will see. lots of locals there in their best Armarni and Gucci.

Sorrento is simply stunning and very romantic as well  Its the only place EVER i will return to in my travels as utill i experienced the place i could not understand people going to the same place twice

Oh Baz, I loved that place in Sorrento too. The place is in the Piazza Tasso and is called "Fauno". You are right it is totally fab. We used to just sit there for ages watching the world go by whilst sipping drinks and occasionally a bite to eat. The pasta there was lovely too. A little pigeon used to sit and share the bowl of nuts that came with drinks. Happy, sunny days indeed. I hanker to return there too :D

Wow man, you never mentioned this. You're a very lucky man. Though I guess K is the only woman who'd put up with you anyway.

Warmest congratulations to you both. :D

well we're back
we did go to sorrento, but I didn't stop at the fauna bar
next time :)

overall, I much prefer my own espresso to the ones I had in Italy (overroasted, the lot of them)
the company was good, though ;)
