Where to drink in Barcelona?

A friend of mine is headed to Barcelona (a Liverpool fan so neutral towards last nights game) this weeked and knowing I'm an expert in coffee (amazing how people assume that just because you've left the instant & the teaspoon behind) I'm expected to show Worldly knowledge.

I did a quick search and found nothing for Barcelona, any recommendations would be appreciated.

los caracoles - carrer escudellers 14, for seafood and snails


a really good espresso will be hard to find so best stick with cafe con leche / cafe amb llet but don't miss out on the hot chocolate with churros
