Hart Bakery, Bristol

I had a recent business trip to Bristol. Didn't have as much of a chance as I'd like to explore the local coffee scene but did get to the Hart Bakery next to Bristol Temple Meads.

The bread side is wonderful and as it should be. (The only other place I have seen recently at the same level is Flour Water Salt in Macclesfield).

Coffee was good, a bit strong for Espresso but I would guess it would be better with milk.

This trip also helped to remind me how much coffee has come on in the last few years, which I think has also contributed to this site winding down. Too many places don't do good coffee, but artisan coffee is finally becoming more mainstream.
