vac-pots?

i am dutch and although i think i speak english pretty good the terms used here are slightly confusing can anyone explain the following terms.
burrs, vac pots and french press.
i can guess what they mean but i'd rather know for sure.

Burrs are the wheels that grind the coffee... like a "blade".
Vac pots are specialised coffee making equipment. Try looking at "cona" website to see pics of some, or look for the "bodum santos"
French press in just a coffee pot where you add grinds, and then use a plug to press them down into the bottom so you can drain off the brewed coffee. See La cafitiere on google for an idea?
