Microwave brewing

In my tiredness this morning, I poured nice cold water in to my press pot. ... effectively wasting a good few grams of Santa Terezinha
Reluctant to bin it and start again I decided to micowave it to get it hot. .... well you never know it might work.
Started to wave it and after 30 seconds it started to spit .... I relised that the oils on the exposed floating grounds were starting to cook, so every 20 seconds, I had to stop the miocrowave and stir the coffee.
about 3-4 mins later, the coffee was steaming and the kitchen smelt great.
I plunged .... I poured.
And the result ???????
Oddly enough it was quite good really ... not as good as normal, but still more enjoyable than the 7 day old Mugumbwa that I was using at the weekend.
Pleasently suprised that it wasnt a total write off ....... I think I might have invented a new brewing method, all I need to do now is design a cool looking micro-brew-pot-wave-o-matic, get Happy Donkey and Has bean to stock it, and wait for the cash to come rolling in. !!!!
Oh yes, A whole brewing method goes down in history with my name on it ... the Johnny Wave !
