Kona in my vac pot

Postby Terje » Sun Feb 04, 2007 3:37 pm

Pretty decent coffee if you ask me although I still wonder why this brewing method is seen as so great. But OK, this was damn good and I'm getting better at brewing it.
Different beans and a frying pan, Zassenhaus grinder and a couple of moka pots...

To me it is because of the subtle flavors that you get in the coffee from brewing it this way.
Also the visual part is pretty neat...
Bezzera B3000A, Giotto Premium, several Cona's, several Balance Brewers, Atomic, Milano etc,
Aristarco, Rancilio MD 40, Ditting and Eureka MCI grinders, several antique roasters, a mini500/800N propane/electric Taiwanese roaster, greens all over the place...and some other unmentionables that have not been mentioned......

As with every brewing method, the first brew won't blow you away ... if you try a bit more, playing with the variables and hit the nail more and more often, you'll be blown away as often too. But only until you got to a clover ... ;)

This week I like my coffee luke-warm.
