Cakeboy - Thanks for the tip about frothing milk in a french press. It really works!! I didn't think it would. The wife is well impressed at my professional looking lattes. No need to buy a frothing wand now.
Lukas - thanks for you tips about not spending money! I like your style (well I am an Accountant or bean counter?!). I think I will try some more coffees. All I have tried at the moment are a Colombian and Breakfast Bomb from Hasbean. Might try a Monsoon Malabar next. However I have a confession to make I have bought a Bodum Antigua grinder. It was only £33 + £6 postage brand new on ebay. I did want the Iberital MC2 but I thought the Antigua was a bargain at that price and some people seem to recommend it on this site. My Zassenhaus will be a useful backup and for taking on trips abroad.
Once again thanks for all your friendly advice. I thought I was out of my depth on this site but all your advice has really helped this beginner.
Kind regards
Colin

Thanks for the kudos! I can't comment on the Antigua, although I've heard it's pretty good in its price range. Have fun experimenting with the coffees!
Lukas
This week I like my coffee luke-warm.
