Well folks, heres a quick update.
Colin (see above posts) came over and helped me through the milk frothing process. It seems I was nearly there, but just needed a few tweaks to my technique. He showed me what I needed to know to improve and produce the microfoam needed. He even brought his machine and all his kit with him, incl coffee weighing device, frothing thermometer etc.
Many thanks mate, I'm just gonna practice a bit more now, and then start with the art you showed me.
