i'm sure this won't damage the excellent reputation of this coffee...but i couldn't help but find this persons review rather amusing....sorry to highlight it steve Very Happy i love this bean by the way.

http://www.hasbean.co.uk/product_reviews_info.php?products_id=1059&reviews_id=536

i'm actually wondering if he was having a funny five minutes..and actually did mix them up with some stale coffee from his local supermarket Smile

its a real shame that some people don't have the intelligence or common courtesy to draw the line between being critical of something they don't like, and a slanderous, damaging filth!!

i know what you mean....the review is soooo over the top!
if he didn't like it he could of just said that it wasn't to his taste etc..
considering the reputation of cach..it just made me laugh Smile guess he's entitled to his opinion and everyones got their own individual tastes......his is just wrong that's all Laughing

yeah 'looking' at a bag of it isn't quite the same is it Smile
ok i'd definitely recommend purchasing another tamper if i was you. either that or modify your current one to have some kind of retractable elasticated wire attached to the handle and the other end attached to your belt clip Laughing

ha ha haa!! sounds like a plan!! I tried pulling a couple of shots, minus tamping, and whilst I got a couple drinkable in cold cocktails (trust me, its not something I normally do) most of them were terrible!! PLus my machine is still too cold, but thats another matter Smile

I can't afford another tamper Sad im living off about £10 a week at the minute!

Hmm, if they like dark and oily Monsooned Malabar (which from my experience does not take a dark oily roast at all well) then I'm not surprised they didn't like the Canario as they don't like coffee, but musty tasting ash Laughing

Well, when all you've got to compare it to is coffee from lidl Wink
I spotted this so called "review" a while back. The only sense I managed to make out of it was that he is referring to his moka pot as an "espresso maker" which suggests to me that he hasn't got a clue.

yep that's exactly what i picked up on and thought just that...that if he's referring to a moka pot as an 'espresso maker' he's not too clued up. the silly billy.

I particularly enjoyed the observation that it smelt like a 'Beany' coffee. WTF?
